Those type of stories have little to no substance apart from 'this character is a magical badass that cannot do wrong' or random pop culture jokes. If it’s not renewed, McLendon-Covey wants it to be remembered as an “uplifting” series for viewers.Most TG stories are almost always the same, either someone who is a fan of the show or game or of the character in general buys something that happens to be supernaturally enhanced and they turn into said character or someone winds up becoming that character in general via other means, and in the most obscene cases are just blatant excuses for the author to self insert themselves as their idealized self.I mean, you could care less about this character and how much of a supposed bad-ass they are when he or she or goes around demonstrating their 'amazing' powers and transforming people left and right on a regular basis, because chances are the author isn't even going to bother explaining the character. The nostalgia-filled comedy is currently in its eighth season.
